Kiss My Face run courses and workshops for adults in Acting and Creative Writing.

These workshops are aimed at beginners up to the more experienced and run in Leicester City and Leicestershire. We run courses for those who want to develop their skills over a series of weeks, and one-off workshops for those who would just like a few new ideas or want to give it a try.

Workshops begin again in May and are open to those aged 17 and over.

Available Workshops

Acting

Improvisation, script, character and voice.

Ever wanted to play the heroine in Shakespeare? Ever wanted to get your teeth into a script but can't find the time or people to do it with you? Well then these weekly acting workshops give you the opportunity to explore a variety of different texts, from monologues to ensemble pieces. The workshops explore ways of using your voice, developing character and putting into practice your own performative ideas.

 

Time: Courses run for 6 weeks and begin again in May (Exact dates TBC shortly)

Location: Wednesdays 6-8pm @ the Kiss My Face Space, Leicester City and Thursday 6-8pm @ Hamilton Community College

Creative Writing

Short stories, plotlines, characters and we'll even throw in a spot of poetry!

These workshops help develop your ideas and writing style from start to finish. Ever get stuck for inspiration? Ever thought your main character was rather dull? Well, this workshop will give you ideas in narrative, language and charcterisation that get the creative juices flowing and the pen on the paper.

 

Workshops available: Creative writing evenings and Intensive weekends.

Circus Skills

Clown around learning new skills!

If you ever wanted to run away and join the circus then this is the workshop for you! Plate spinning, juggling, diablo and much more. Great for co-ordination, meeting new people and loads of fun!
