Kiss My Face run a variety of workshops for Practitioners and Companies. These workshops aim to give you various new creative ideas and exercises that you can take away and develop according to your own practice. They are aimed primarily at working in educational settings and in the community. We have something for everyone in Drama, Shakespeare, Creative Writing, and Circus Skills. Available Workshops Drama in Primary School Learn new ways of helping children to create their own narratives, characters, mask and costume, all within a safe and imagination friendly environment.
Physical Theatre in Secondary School and College Working with improvisation, emotion and the physical exploration of text and the body, this workshop will give you practical ways to explore those ideas as well as how to develop performative material.
Shakespeare Shakespeare in school is more often than not studied in English rather than Drama, so this workshop aims to equip you with skills that can help bring Shakespeare to life for the students and above all make it fun! Exercises that explore rhythm, language and characterisation.
Creative Writing from Primary to Secondary It seems as soon as you mention the word writing, their faces drop and they would rather send a text message from underneath the table than pick up their pen. This workshop will give you ideas in narrative, poetry and even music that get their creative juices flowing and the pen finally on the paper.
Circus Skills Clown around learning new skills! Plate spinning, juggling, diablo and much more. Great for co-ordination, teamwork and group dynamics.
